Athletics

What: At Oaklands the Kauri team Had there Athletics Day. Due to my injury I could not participate in most of the events.The only ones I could do was discus and shot-put.

So What: In discus I managed to get around about 5TH and in shot-put I got a good result and got 3RD.

Now What: This is was my last Athletics day at Oaklands but I would like to do well at STC.

Olympic learning

WHAT: We have been learning about the Olympics.

So what: i have been interested about learning about the Olympic team.

Now What: A sport i would like to be competing in would be football because i  play it myself and it's my favourite sport.

PMI of Term 2

 Positive: I have enjoyed doing research on NZ Fresh Water eg. Rivers and lakes ect. It has given me opportunities to do more research on habitats  especially ones which are located In NZ.I also have liked  playing with  new soccer team i have had to change how I play to help our winter sport team.

          Negative:I would have liked to play animals survival for fitness and not being able to do passion     projects.



         Interesting: I would not of guessed that we would be doing Jump Jam and it was intersting with a new              footballteam .

My Collage

What: Room 10 needed to make a collage by cutting out paper and making it into a NZ habitat.

So what: I had to cut out trees,bushes,birds,deer,stoats,fish,a river and a sun.

Now what: Next time I would like to do everything collage with no drawing and painting.

WHAT: I have been involved in the CARE values

SO WHAT: I am a master at listen, speak and show respect to others, Communicate quietly and respectfully and Represent Oaklands school positively.

Now what: I still need to work on sit down while eating, Make healthy food choices and wait until you've finished eating before talking to others.

My Student led Confrerence

My Student Led Conference

1. I felt my SLC went well because I spoke clearly and showed my  learning with what I was doing.

2. My favourite part of the SLC was explaining what I was doing in my Maths

3.This year I feel that I have made the most improvement with my maths because I have improved my knowledge on ratios, percentages and fractions.

4. In 2016 I want to improve on my spelling because it would be helpful in my writing.

Plot: The lonely old man can't find his very important false teeth that he lost at a football game.

Fav: My favourite part of the text is when the writer explains the setting.
